A "Desperate Housewives" star was in a nasty car accident yesterday, and the elderly gentleman he collided with had to be rushed by ambulance to the hospital.
Shawn Pyfrom was driving in the San Fernando Valley at around 3:30 PM when his car collided with the bike. Shawn's rep says the biker was going the wrong way and made a sudden turn into Shawn's car.
The biker was bloodied and went down. Shawn got out of his car and tried helping him until paramedics arrived and took the man to the hospital.
No one was cited for the accident.
The biker's condition is unknown.

Rachel Nichols' purse was snatched yesterday in Los Angeles -- after someone busted the windows out of her car.
In an interview with Kevin & Bean on KROQ, the "P2" and "G.I. Joe" star claims she left her purse in the backseat of her parked car before a hike -- but when she returned, her window was busted and the handbag was gone.
She lost her driver's license, credit cards, cash, and most importantly ... her Chanel lipstick.

The stars of MTV's "A Double Shot at Love" were involved in a major car crash yesterday that left one girl in a medically induced coma.
We're told Erica "Rikki" Mongeon and Victoria "Vikki" Mongeon were passengers in a VW Jetta traveling through Bakersfield, CA at around 12:20 AM Tuesday when their car collided with a semi-truck.
We're told Vikki and the Jetta driver were not seriously injured -- but Rikki was rushed to the intensive care unit at a local hospital.
According to girls' manager, Rikki is now in a medically induced coma -- but we're told doctors are optimistic about Rikki's recovery.

Audrina Patridge had to pay nearly $400 to get her car out of the tow shop yesterday -- but when she told us her car was towed while she was in acting class ... well, that $400 seems well spent by comparison.
She's been acting on "The Hills" for all these years ... who needs more practice?

Audrina Patridge says she feels safer now that her alleged stalker is behind bars ... and we would too, after his bird-flipping performance during his arraignment yesterday.
Zachary Loring pled not guilty to felony stalking and three misdemeanors -- right around the time he spewed obscenities and made obscene gestures behind his lawyer's back. He's being held on $150,000 bail.
Audrina was shopping in L.A. yesterday afternoon.

Justice was delayed but not denied for Tyrese this morning -- that pesky felony citation is off his back for good.
TMZ first reported Tyrese got the felony citation for allegedly leaving the scene of an accident in Miami last month, even though we posted pictures of him at the scene with cops.
Today Tyrese's lawyers, Jayne Weintraub and Jon Sale, went to court and the prosecutor officially dropped the case, proving a TMZ picture is worth a thousand words.

Britney Spears has to be the only person on the planet who test drives a Maserati by sitting in the passenger seat while someone else gets to have all the fun.
Britney and her bodyguard visited the Maserati dealership earlier today in Calabasas, CA -- where she was spotted riding shotgun in the car, which is worth well over $100,000.
Britney is such a driven person.
BTW: Britney is on a $500 a week allowance and can't buy the car without a judge's approval ... and we're pretty sure that's not how the judge rolls.

Sylvester Stallone is putting to rest the ridiculous rumors Charlie Sheen had anything to do with Sheen's car careening off a cliff.
Sly says he actually spoke to Sheen about the incident -- where his black Mercedes was stolen and then found at the bottom of a cliff off Mulholland Drive -- saying, "I talked to him about it. Trust me -- this guy was a victim."
The truth according to Sly.

The eye in the sky may be the key to the mysterious Bentley at the bottom of a ravine near where Charlie Sheen's car was found -- the Bentley owners claim they have surveillance tape of the car being stolen.
TMZ just contacted the owners of the Bentley -- one of whom, we're told, is slated to be on the upcoming "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."
Lisa Vanderpump -- who appeared on "Silk Stalkings" and "Baywatch Nights" -- is married to Kenneth Todd. They live near Charlie Sheen's house in a gated community. The keys were not in the car, Lisa says. The car was parked in the driveway. Lisa tells us they have surveillance footage of the crime.
Lisa and Ken own the fancy Beverly Hills restaurant, Villa Blanca.
UPDATE: Law enforcement sources tell TMZ police are investigating to see if the Charlie Sheen and Todd incidents are connected. They have looked at the surveillance video from Charlie's house and there is a shot of the thieves leaving the scene, though it is hard to ID them.
We do not know how much the Todd surveillance video reveals.
UPDATE: We just spoke with Lisa again, who said, "They can have the frickin' car, but can I have my dry cleaning in the trunk, please?" Rich people's problems ....

Charlie Sheen's car that went over a cliff this morning on Mulholland Drive was ready to drive ... because law enforcement tells us the key was in the ignition and the garage door at his home was open.
Charlie lives in a gated community where other residents sometimes leave their garage door open as well.
Our law enforcement sources say when they arrived at Charlie's home he looked fine and told cops he had no idea who heisted his ride.
Cops say other cars in the gated community were burglarized.

Charlie Sheen got one hell of a wake up call this morning when an operator from an OnStar-like service called to inform him that his SUV had crashed.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Sheen got the call around 4AM when his remote diagnostics company received an alert that the car had been involved in a wreck and the airbags had deployed.
We're told Sheen alerted his security team who inspected the home and confirmed that the car had been stolen.
Cops later found the wrecked SUV 100 feet down Mulholland Drive.
We're told the L.A. Fire Department used an infrared scanner to search for any victims, but the search came up empty.
Cops are still hunting for a suspect.

A likely sober Barron Hilton is back behind the wheel -- and he wasted no time getting his sick new $60,000 ride on the road.
As TMZ previously reported, Paris' younger bro was given a 2010 Mercedes E550 Coupe by his dad as a reward for getting his license back after his 2008 DUI bust -- and it was delivered Wednesday afternoon.
Within an hour of the car's delivery, Barron was already seen driving it -- with Rick riding shotty.
Best DUI gift EVER.

Mark Wahlberg was in a bit of a tow jam last night -- when his pricey Porsche sprung a leak in front of Madeo.
The former Funky Bunch frontman ran inside to get some take-out when his ride started spilling oil -- and had to be towed away for repairs.

The same day Jon Gosselin's divorce was finalized -- and he was hit with huge child support payments -- we've learned he tried (and failed) to pad his wallet by trading in his beloved BMW for a profit.
TMZ spoke to an employee at Auto Exchange USA in Lancaster, PA, who told us Jon showed up at the car lot on Friday and wanted to trade his 2005 BMW M3 for a 2008 Subaru STI (pictured above) PLUS around $4,000 in cash.
We're told Jon's car wasn't worth nearly as much as he thought it was -- so he ended up leaving the lot without ever making a trade.
