Judge Slams Foxy's Apology -- Ill Waah Waah

The walking tornado known as Foxy Brown caused a serious storm in court this morning, with defense lawyers begging to quit, with cops and witnesses from all over the tri-state area convening for the hearing.

Foxy's in Manhattan Criminal Court so the judge can determine how long she should spend in the slammer after violating her probation stemming from an assault on a manicurist in 2004, including an alleged attack in Brooklyn and a traffic violation in New Jersey. A source in the courtroom said Foxy was offered a nine-month sentence, but she hasn't taken it yet. Her new defense lawyer, we're told, has been trying to get her to take the deal -- but not before she tried to get taken off the case. Judge Jackson is making her and another lawyer, Alan Stutman, stick with Foxy.

The rapperista has seemed contrite, we're told, dressed conservatively in a gray suit and handcuffs. She read a statement of apology to the court, but the judge, said a source, smacked it down, saying it was, "Too little, too late." At one point, Foxy turned to her mother sitting behind her and mouthed the words, "I love you."

Court has been adjourned for lunch, but after the break, cops from New Jersey are being brought in to testify about her traffic violation there last month, and her probation officer will also be questioned.

Story developing ...

33. To Jimmy: First of all get Jena 6 right. It is not fair because the 6 black students that you are referring to one of them got beat up by 6 white students first! Then the 6 black students beat up the white student after he was making fun of the black student that got beat up! Know your facts first! There is also more to a story! The point is that the black students are not being treating has the white students were in the same situation! Michael Vick what the hell does he have to do with anything! Remember you can't hold a good man down!

34. To: Nice Try

It is a matter of color. In all the other cases, which have been on here, the defendant has not been in handcuffs and waist belt.

To allow a person in court in full restraints sends a message from the court: "Don't bother telling us about the defense. We think that you are guilty anyway!"

In Florida some judges and several attorneys advocate for letting people come into court without restraints to send a message about that people are guilty relating the lastest crime, when they are convicted and sentenced. Not a second before.

This case shows that she had succes. Maybe it was bad service or her behaving badly in first case. Years ago when my life was going poor, I had to work in a shop and take a bus to work instead of a car. Did I treat every customer good? No, I have to regret that I did not. Working in a shop in my country is the third lowest beside being a parking attendant or a criminal, which have equal status in the public.

So maybe I deserved some of the beatings I received from angry customers and shop lifters. I don't know, but I did not press charged because of the low status of the job. The bottom line is that it is possible that she was treated poorly and unlike most of the other cases on this webpage the court took a totally other approach regarding the treatment of her.

If it is not because of her color, then what?

38. Race has been and always will be an issue. Although the crimes are different, L'il Kim went to jail for a year. Foxy may go for nine months. They're both black. However, Paris went for a a few days, Lindsay Lohan for a day, and Nicole Ritchie for a few hours. They're all white. So, you tell me what is here. All these women have celebrity status. The only difference is in black and white. Again, race has been and always will be an issue in this country. Please don't try to make excuses for it. It is what it is.

39. Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohan, and that Ritchie Chick all did less then 9mos. Foxy is "NO
Different". They "All" have "Serious Issues" within themselves and need a lifetime of
serious counseling. Foxy, deserves equal treatment as they have had.

41. When reading about "Celebutards" being arrested in LA, we NY gossip lovers often laugh at the LA justice, no jail, or "84 minutes" in jail". Because here in NY they would receive much harsher penalties. Oh of course there are exceptions and the cases in the courts take forever, but in the end, there is much less "celebrity justice" in NYC. Foxy Brown is just getting what anyone else in her case would in the great City of New York.

43. The reason she is getting it harder than Paris, Nichole or LiLo is because of the Jail overcrowding here, and not because of her color. If she had done the same thing here, she would have been in and out of Jail within days. Oh yeah, the assault charge didn't help her either.

To Jimmy:
African Americans are constantly speaking up, and out when it comes to US!! We have
never sat down and taken anything when it comes to my race. "YES" we ARE treated UNFAIR and ALWAYS have to fight and continue to fight for equal rights. I do not know were you get off thinking Africans Americans need to sit down and take whatever CAUCASIANS ‘TRY TO PLACE ON US. WE have just as much RIGHTS as you do, and will VOICE OUR OPINION AS WE PLEASE!!!!! IF YOU DO NOT LIKE IT MOVE OUT OF THE U.S.A.
