109. Just saw an old interview with Griffin. He said that his headstone would probably read: "I won't be back after these messages." I think that he would have gotten a kick out of TMZ's treatment.

Like it or not Merv Griffin was a showbusiness legend (actually I have never heard of anyone not liking him) and deserves a fitting tribute on a site that claims to be about entertainment.

He's looking down at TMZ and his friend, Harvey Levin, right now amused and laughing in his usual magnetic way! Yes, he would think it great and feel honored to have them post a celebration of his passing (AFTER AN AMAZINGLY FULL LIFE) with a tie-in to 'THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE"....there's nothing despicable about this post by TMZ!
